Getting Started

Steal A Baddie Egg! is a free Roblox Simulation/Tycoon from Dropout Interactive (group 545008080, place 89678439944901). Servers hold up to seven players across Desktop, Console, Mobile, and Tablet. Your job is simple to say and hard to master: steal eggs from Baddies, escape to your base, hatch rare Baddies, earn cash per second, train Speed on the treadmill, unlock new areas, and repeat for rarer eggs.

This guide covers a clean first session so you do not waste early cash on the wrong Robux trail or chase Cosmic eggs before you can escort them home. Pair it with How to Steal, Speed Training, the Codes Hub, and the Tier List Hub.

First five minutes checklist

  1. Join from the official Roblox game page and finish any onboarding prompts.
  2. Claim starter or daily rewards if a gift/bell UI is available in your session.
  3. Locate your base, hatch UI, and treadmill before leaving for a steal.
  4. Steal a low-risk Common or Uncommon egg and practice the full escape path.
  5. Hatch, place the Baddie for $/s income, then buy a short treadmill session.
  6. Favorite the experience and note the Dropout Interactive group for announcements.

Do not open the limited shop on minute one unless you already know a window is ending the same day. Limited eggs are covered in the Limited Eggs guide.

The core loop (memorize this)

Steal → Escape → Hatch → Earn → Train Speed → Unlock → Steal rarer eggs.

Every upgrade should serve that chain. Cash without Speed means you drop valuable eggs. Speed without income means you cannot afford trails. Income without Index awareness means you duplicate weak Baddies forever. Keep one eye on rarity—Common through Divine—and one eye on whether you can actually carry the egg home.

Claim rewards and early UI

New sessions often hide free value behind reward buttons. Check for claimable gifts before your first long steal. If nothing appears, move on—do not stand AFK waiting for a codes box that may not exist yet. The Codes Hub currently lists no verified active codes and warns about fakes.

Learn these UI clusters early:

  • Base / hatch — turn eggs into Baddies and place them for income.
  • Treadmill — convert cash (and later Robux trails) into Speed.
  • Shop / limited — time-boxed eggs and packs; ignore until you understand Speed.
  • Index / collection — track what you have hatched so DNA and trades make sense later.

First steals without ego

Your first successful steals should be boring. Leave base, grab an egg you can carry, and return on a route you already walked empty-handed. Other players can contest you; seven-player servers mean someone is always watching high-value targets.

Tips that scale forever:

  • Scout the path empty before carrying.
  • Do not cross open space if a shorter wall-hug route exists.
  • If your Speed feels slow mid-carry, abort to a safer egg instead of forcing a Legendary you will lose.
  • After a successful hatch, immediately bank time on the treadmill—do not stack five eggs while still slow.

Deep dive habits live in How to Steal.

Hatch and income placement

Hatching turns risk into permanent $/s. Place Baddies where your base layout intends them to stay; reshuffling later costs attention you could spend stealing. Early on, favor consistent income over chasing a single Mythic you cannot defend.

Rarity ladder to remember: Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Cosmic → Secret → Eternal → Divine. Use the Tier List Hub when deciding what deserves Index focus versus quick cash.

Treadmill before flashy trails

Speed is the difference between a highlight steal and a donation to another base. Spend early cash on treadmill sessions even if you still wear a cheap trail. Trails multiply training—Green starts at 2x for 19 Robux and climbs through Blue, Purple, Golden, Red, Galaxy, Secret, Eternal, Divine, and Moonbloom at 20x for 1199 Robux. Full tables and priorities sit in Speed Training.

Free-to-play path: hatch income → treadmill → slightly better steals → better income → repeat. Robux path: buy a trail only when you will actually AFK or grind the treadmill long enough to amortize it.

Unlock areas with intention

Map unlocks exist to gate rarer eggs behind Speed and confidence. Do not unlock an area just to screenshot it. Unlock when your average escape success rate on the previous tier feels stable. If you lose most carries, you need Speed and route practice—not a deeper biome.

DNA steal (know it exists)

DNA steal products copy another player’s Baddie as an egg by rarity, priced roughly 49–4999 Robux. That is a late convenience tool, not a day-one requirement. Learn to steal and hatch naturally before spending on DNA copies.

Common first-day mistakes

  • Buying a mid trail, then never using the treadmill.
  • Chasing limited anime eggs during a window without enough Speed to escort them.
  • Ignoring Index progress and hatching duplicates you do not need.
  • Trusting random “codes” videos (see Codes Hub).
  • Running scripts on a main account (see Scripts Hub for ban-risk context).

After your first hour

  1. Re-read Speed Training and pick a trail tier you can justify.
  2. Drill escapes with How to Steal.
  3. Skim Limited Eggs so you know active shop windows.
  4. Check Updates after patches.
  5. Keep Official Links bookmarked for the real Roblox place and group.

Finish the session by placing your best income Baddies, queuing treadmill time, and favorite-starring the game so limited drops do not catch you offline.
